Fred worked at Raytheon Company (IDS) at the Vandenberg Air Force Base in California as the Quality Program Lead (QPL). He has extensive interaction with Customers (MDA & US ARMY), software and systems engineering as well as interaction with multiple other disciplines. He has in-depth knowledge of standard and Quality / Configuration Data Management roles and responsibilities.
He worked in a rapid response environment and is able to streamline traditional processes to meet the demands of the environment within the parameters of the quality management system.
Fred is a high energy/self-starting individual who questions the status quo in order to be the catalyst for performance excellence and mission assurance. He is also a Six Sigma Expert. Attended, Valencia College 1976-1979.
Anwar Molani, M.D.
MEDICAL DIRECTOR, PATHOLOGIST
Dr. Anwar Molani holds Board Certification in Anatomical and Clinical Pathology. Since 2010 he has been on staff at the Sherman Oaks Clinical Laboratory and the Encino Hospital Medical Center. He holds licenses in Indiana, Louisiana, and California. He was a general practitioner before deciding to continue his education in Pathology at State University of New York at Buffalo.
Dr. Schmidt did his graduate training at the University of Louisville, earning both an M.S. and Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and graduating with the prestigious Guy Stevenson Award for Academic Excellence (the highest Doctoral graduate of each graduating class) in 2015. He has been extensively published in cancer research and has expertise in clinical laboratory science including histopathology, toxicology, and molecular biology including genetic analysis and predictive medicine.
Dr. Schmidt brings over 6 years of experience in assay development at LabCorp and 10 years of cutting-edge academic oncology research to Nova Labs. His responsibilities include technical problem solving, assay development, quality assurance, quality control, technology acquisition, and he is integrally involved in designing and implementing state-of-the-art laboratory techniques and clinical diagnostics into Nova Lab’s catalog.
Adam graduated from the University of Utah with a degree in Business Administration. He then attended the American Institute of Medical Sales in Colorado where he was graduated as Valedictorian. He was recruited by one of largest sports medicine device companies in the world. Adam currently owns one of the largest biologics distributorships in Utah as well as a cutting-edge software company designed to help patients with mental disorders. His responsibilities include sales, marketing, and company growth.
Jake is an experienced entrepreneur and business owner and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Utah. Jake has been in the healthcare industry for 5 years. Starting as a territory manager for one of the largest sports medicine companies in the world, and most recently co-owning and operating one of the largest biologic distributorships in Utah. Jake has also helped develop a mental health care application used for screening patients who may exhibit mental health issues. Jake’s varied background in sales, business management, marketing, communications, and his entrepreneurial drive have provided the perfect foundation for his role with Nova Labs.
ADMINISTRATIVE LABORATORY SUPERVISOR
Jennifer graduated from the American University of Rome with a bachelor’s degree in international relations and concentration in Italian. While working as a specialty sales representative in the CNS/metabolic (psychotropics) division for a major pharmaceutical company, she obtained a master’s degree in clinical psychology. Jennifer then worked for five years as the Behavioral Health Director for LAGS Spine & SportsCare, a large pain management practice where she educated and supported patients with chronic pain
Angelic Dirden graduated from Armstrong State University in Savannah, GA with a bachelor’s degree in Biology. She is currently earning a master’s degree in Clinical Research Administration from Walden University. Her laboratory experience includes a concentration in microbiology and reproductive genetics work. Angelic has most recently worked as a histotechnician at Skin Pathology Associates in Alabama where she tested inflammatory diseases, alopecia, cutaneous lymphomas, and neoplasms. She now works as a histotechnician at NovaLabs.
